  • The pool is closed to everyone from 11:00 PM until 8:00 AM

Pool Parties/ Special Events
During regular operating hours, all private pool parties with twelve (12) or more attendees must be submitted to pool chairperson and cleared with pool chairperson at least 7 days prior to the date of the party. Parties with fifteen (15) or more attendees may require an extra guard to be booked, depending on the judgment of the pool chairperson. This will depend on the day of the party (weekday, weekend, and holiday). If it is determined that an additional guard will be necessary, lifeguards will be staffed, one (1) for every twenty-five (25) individuals. The Association Member will arrange with the pool chairperson an additional lifeguard if necessary. An additional lifeguard will be required for all parties where alcohol is served. During all private parties, all children eight (8) and under must be supervised by an adult. Teenage and college parties must have at least one adult chaperone for each 15 people at the party. Parties that leave a large mess may be subject to penalty charge to cover extra clean-up time. Any unscheduled parties with 12 or more attendees will be subject to a penalty charge of $200. Penalty charges will be billed to Association Member.

Pool Rules

The following rules are intended for the safety of all the members of our community. It is important that all residents support them and help ensure their use by all children and guests at Carriage Park. Thank you for your support and help!
  1. All members are required to familiarize their children with all pool rules. Parents are responsible for their children, whether the parents are at the pool or not. Parents are required to accompany small children to the rest rooms.
  2. DURING GUARDED HOURS, CHILDREN MUST BE 12 TO ENTER THE POOL UNACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.
  3. DURING SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK: Children under 16 are not permitted to swim under any circumstances without an accompanying adult 18 years or older. Anyone caught in violation of this rule will be sent home and if it happens again, they will lose all pool privileges for the summer. Children in the wading pool must be supervised by an adult or parent.
  4. The lifeguard is responsible for supervising pool activities and ensuring the safety of residents and guests. The lifeguard has absolute authority to discipline swimmers according to the following guidelines:

MINOR VIOLATIONS: Problems to include running, roughhousing, general pool violations, boisterous conduct, etc.

First Offense – Half hour out of the pool

Second Offense in the same day – Dismissed from the pool for the day.

MAJOR VIOLATIONS: Problems to include fighting, theft, vulgarism, destruction of pool property, not adhering to age requirements set forth by association, etc. Association member will be responsible for all repair costs and will be billed appropriately.

First Offense – Referred to parent for discipline. Must leave pool for the day.

Second Offense – Permanent suspension from the pool.

The lifeguard has the authority to limit the number of people in the pool. In addition, once every hour, children 17 and younger will be cleared out of the pool for 15 minutes.

  1. No one under 16 is permitted to bring non-Carriage Park residents to the pool at any time unless there is a responsible parent in attendance.
  2. Admittance only to Carriage Park residents in good standing and their guests. Maximum of 4 guests (this does not apply to out of town guests). Unpaid residents of Carriage Park cannot be considered guests and will not be permitted use of the facilities. Due to our pool contract, if a resident has a child’s party at the pool and has more than 12 guests, they must call the Pool Chairperson for approval 10 days in advance. An extra lifeguard charge may apply.
  3. The pool is not available for exclusive use by any Carriage Park resident. Rental of the Clubhouse may include pool privileges for an additional charge.
  4. Water wings, children’s small round floats, snorkel tubes, face masks, and soft plastic balls under 12” in diameter are permitted.
  5. Dirty diapers must not be placed in the pool, clubhouse, or bathroom trash containers. Please dispose of them at your house.
  6. No solo swimming.
  7. For safety reasons, there can be NO RUNNING, pushing, jumping in on others, dunking or holding others under the water. NO loitering in the bathroom area.
  8. NO DIVING is allowed in the shallow area.
  9. NO GLASS, bottles, chinaware, nor items in breakable containers are allowed in the pool/picnic area. Smoking is permitted in the pool area; however, cigarette disposal is the responsibility of the smoker. Consideration should be given to non-smokers in the immediate vicinity.
  10. No gum is allowed in the pool or pool area.
  11. All trash must be placed in the receptacles provided. Please make every effort to keep the area clean for the benefit of everyone.
  12. No roller blades, bicycles, skateboards, scooters or pets are allowed in the pool.
  13. No foul language
  14. No destruction of pool property.
  15. Cut-offs and other improper swimwear are not allowed in the pool.
  16. No one will be allowed to swim with open or infected wounds.
  17. Any child not fully potty trained MUST WEAR DISPOSABLE SWIM DIAPERS. No regular disposable diapers may be worn in the pool. Should an accident occur in the pool, please ensure that this is reported to the lifeguard or to a member of the pool committee so that the proper chemicals are added to the pool.
  18. Wet bathing suits may not be worn into the Clubhouse when the clubhouse is open for community functions or parties.
  19. The outdoor phone is for EMERGENCY USE ONLY. It is not for personal use.
  20. No alcoholic beverages are allowed for anyone under the age of 21. A person showing signs of intoxication will be denied use of the facilities and is subject to suspension and or expulsion.
  21. REPAIR OF DAMAGE TO THE POOL OR EQUIPMENT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RESIDENT (OR THE PARENT OF CHILD) INVOLVED.
  22. The Board of Directors and the Pool Committee has the authority to disallow exuberance that interferes with the enjoyment of the pool by others. The Board of Directors and the Pool Committee shall have the authority to deny use of the pool facilities to anyone at any time for misbehavior, use of abusive language, or apparent intoxication. Those individuals may not return to the pool area until the following day. Additionally, based on the severity of the violation, the Carriage Park Community Association’s Board of Directors has the right to revoke pool privileges for an unspecified period of time.
  23. Subjects not covered by the above rules will be handled by the Board of Directors and the Pool Committee.
  24. Every precaution will be taken for the health and safety of all concerned. However, the Carriage Park Community Association and Pool Committee assume no responsibility. Members and their guests can have no claim against the Carriage Park Community Association or the Pool Committee for any accident or injury. The Carriage Park Community Association and the Pool Committee are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal property.
  25. THE LIFEGUARD STAND IS TO BE USED BY THE LIFEGUARD ONLY! No one else is allowed on the lifeguard stand.
