Pool rules

These rules help keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone. Parents remain responsible for their children, including when a lifeguard is present.

  1. During guarded hours, children must be at least 12 to enter without an adult. During swim-at-your-own-risk hours, anyone under 16 needs an accompanying adult age 18 or older.
  2. Residents in good standing may bring up to four guests, excluding out-of-town guests. Residents must accompany and be responsible for their guests.
  3. Children in the wading pool need direct adult supervision. Children who are not fully toilet trained must wear disposable swim diapers.
  4. No running, pushing, rough play, diving in shallow water, or swimming alone.
  5. Glass, smoking, gum, bicycles, scooters, roller blades, and pets are not permitted in the pool area.
  6. Use the trash receptacles provided. Keep the pool, bathrooms, and picnic area clean for the next family.
  7. Do not swim with open or infected wounds. Report any accident in the water promptly to the lifeguard or Pool Committee.
  8. Only the lifeguard may use the lifeguard stand. Follow lifeguard instructions and posted safety directions at all times.
  9. Wet bathing suits are not allowed inside the clubhouse during functions or parties.
  10. Private parties with 12 or more attendees require advance approval from the Pool Chair. Larger parties or events serving alcohol may need an additional lifeguard.

The Board and Pool Committee may update or enforce rules as needed. Contact the Pool Chair for the full current policy and party requirements.
